After formally leaving the EU on January 31, 2020, the UK entered a Brexit transition period that will conclude on December 31, 2020. During this period, the government of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland (UK) has adjusted and issued numerous regulations and guidelines concerning trade procedures, customs, import and export of goods, including specific regulations on new certificate models applicable to live animals and animal products imported into this market.
