On April 5, 2019, the competent authority of Macedonia issued Book of Rules No. 2019-72 on procedures for the control of import and transit, the list of third countries, and the certificate templates accompanying shipments of live animals and seafood imported into Macedonia. The regulation takes effect from June 1, 2019 (details can be accessed at the website http://fva.gov.mk/mk/zakon-za-veterinarno-zdravstvo). Accordingly, the competent authority of Macedonia has issued specific requirements for each product exported to this market along with a new certificate template (the certificate regulation in Article 50 of the Book of Rules and the new certificate templates for seafood products, live bivalve mollusks, collagen, gelatin, frogs, snails, etc., in Appendix 7, sections 9.4, 9.5, 10.1, 10.2, ...).
