The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development received document No. 3747/UBND-VP dated September 30, 2020 from the People's Committee of Mong Cai City along with a letter of exchange dated September 29, 2020 from the Trade and Customs Management Office of Dong Hung, China. This communication notified the list of 20 types of frozen fish caught and preserved by ice from Vietnam, which are allowed for export to China through the Km3+4 Hai Yen Gate (Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province)/Dong Hung Border Market (Autonomous Region of Choang Ethnic Group, Guangxi Province, China).

Based on the aforementioned notification from China, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development requires seafood processing establishments exporting to China to register for assessment and issue export certificates to the Chinese market via the above-mentioned border market for the frozen fish batches mentioned in the exchange letter of the Trade and Customs Management Office of Dong Hung, China, in accordance with the regulations specified in Circular No. 48/2013/TT-BNNPTNT (amended and supplemented by Circular No. 02/2017/TT-BNNPTNT and Circular No. 16/2018/TT-BNNPTNT).
